LOW EMISSION ZONE SINCE 01/02/2017
Since February 1, 2017, it has been prohibited to enter Antwerp with a polluting vehicle.
The entire city center and a section of the Left Bank are designated as a low-emission zone. This zone is indicated by its own traffic sign.
Large portions of the Ring Road, Noorderlaan from Kinepolis, and a significant section of Blancefloerlaan on the Left Bank fall within this zone, as do the Slachthuis and Park Spoor Oost parking areas.

ACCESSIBILITY ROUTE DIVERSION ON LEIEN IN ANTWERP
The closure of the Antwerp Leien was lifted on May 20, 2020, as after three years of construction, the north and south of the city were once again connected by the tunnels under the Operaplein.
It is advisable to avoid rush hour traffic if you are traveling by car; the outskirts of the city are much busier than the Station District itself.
All trams and buses stop around the corner from us (Central Station, Astrid, Diamant, Opera, F. Roosevelt Square); that's the easiest and fastest option.
Alternatively, you can take the train, with the final stop being Central Station which is only a 350-meter walk away. You can conveniently and for free park your car at one of the 'Park & Rides' (P+R) located on the outskirts of the city. Afterwards, you can continue your journey to the heart of the city by tram, bus, or bike.

However, we are still accessible by car. Saturday mornings are recommended for ease of access. We have three indoor garages available, and there is a public parking facility in Van Wesenbekestraat, Parking Station Zoo, with 392 covered spaces. We advise against using your GPS when approaching Antwerp Center. Instead, it is preferable to use the popular mobile navigation app Waze, which provides real-time traffic information and guides you smoothly through current roadworks and traffic.
Feel free to give us a call if you would like more specific information.
